Am I late for class?
Students could never enter through these sacred front doors.

It was a big crowd enjoying beer, dogs and hamburgers as we greeted long lost friends and listened to the rock band inside the tent.
There also was a huge Pep Rally in the school auditorium celebrating 75 years of life at Delta. A review including skits, music, slides, video and audio presentations brought back memories of classroom and extra-curricular activities throughout Delta's history.
We all sang the forever Delta school song.
When Delta's hardy boys fall into line,
We're going to win again another time.
It's for that dear old school we love so well,
It's for that dear old school we yell, we yell, we yell-
And we will fight, fight, fight with all our might,
Until this old game is won for red and white,
We'll give that old time yell, "We'll do our best!"
Rah! Rah! Rah! For D. S.S.

Thank God we left our husbands home minding the grand kids. |
There was a steering committee which met for three years prior to the reunion. Gene Sutton, Ph.D/Phys.Ed was the chairperson. Even though she was scheduled to retire last year, she stayed on to chair the event. John Simms was the co-chairperson. Many, many thanks to all the volunteers.

Now we are all looking forward to Delta's next reunion.
These photos can stay on the Internet forever. We
will be posting photos from our next reunion here. We can have an unlimited running photo
album for our class that we can look at with the touch of a finger on a keyboard.
HSR ONLINE will also post a full personal page for each of us so that we can
chronicle and update our individual lives together with the lives of our families. This
would be a great time for each of us to start our own Personal Page. Click on List
Your: Personal Page on the blue side bar on the HSR home page.
